What Is Coaching


Life coaching according to a dictionary definition is a method of assisting people to determine and achieve personal goals. A coach can use a variety of methods, to move through the process of setting and achieving goals. Coaching is not intended to be an alternative to psychological therapy, nor do coaches treat psychological illnesses. Coaches are not therapists. It is a partnership where a coach assists you in determining what you really want, helping you to move toward achieving that goal. The coaches job is to help clients articulate their dreams, desires and aspirations, help them clarify their mission, purpose and goals, and help them achieve that outcome. As your life coach I will be your “personal trainer” for life choices and for creating the life you want to live on your own terms.


How it Works

Life coaching usually takes place via telephone. You decide the number of sessions. It is recommended that we have three sessions a month for a minimum of two months in order to develop a working relationship and begin seeing progress.

During our initial sessions you may be asked the following questions in order to clarify your life vision and goals.

  • Who are you becoming?
  • What matters most to you?
  • Does your lifestyle reflect your values?
  • Are the choices you are making reflective of your values?

As a trained professional I will always respect and work with your belief system and values in order to empower you to make the wisest choices. Our conversations will always be held in the strictest confidence.
